Stop the eviction: 3 months of rent for Tarun's family in Pune
A notice to vacate arrived last week. Tarun needs $600 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Pune.

When my hours were cut in half in October, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $600.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by January, we must leave.
I've 1 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $600 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $400
• Late fees and court costs: $25
• Utilities in arrears: $40
• First month of rent as a buffer: $135
I hope life is good to you.
