Statistics help for Vijay, preparing for the GCSE exam
Online or in-person tutoring in statistics for a bright student in Mumbai.
🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India759 views
My nephew, Vijay, is 16 and in Form 3. Vijay loves school but statistics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The GCSE exam is in September.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Mumbai or online, for about sixteen weeks.
Vijay is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in statistics, you could change the course of Vijay's year.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Takoradi so I could bring a meal. Take care
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I hope September is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Mumbai.
Thanks for sharing this, Ramesh. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. God bless.

Hope things get better soon. Your post was clear and honest. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless!
best of luck, Ramesh. Shared it with a few friends. God bless
Keep going, Ramesh. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.

Best of luck. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Sending good thoughts. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Blessings.
