Start-up fund for Zoey: reopening a laundry service after a break-in
Zoey lost two washing machines and a dryer to a break-in and needs $1,050 to reopen a laundry service and support the family.

For three years I have run a laundry service in Cleveland. In March, a break-in took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $410
• Shop repairs and licensing: $330
• Working capital for the first month: $310
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

23% there. I made the first payment toward shop repairs and licensing. Thank you.
Thank you all. We're at 13% now ($142). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for working capital for the first month is now scheduled.
