Start-up fund for Yogesh: reopening a neighborhood bakery after a storm that collapsed the roof
Yogesh lost a commercial oven to a storm that collapsed the roof and needs $350 to reopen a neighborhood bakery and support the family.

For three years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Nagpur. In September, a storm that collapsed the roof took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $350 goes:
• Replacing a commercial oven: $160
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $70
• Shop repairs and licensing: $65
• Working capital for the first month: $55
With deep gratitude,
Yogesh

Sending strength, Yogesh. It takes guts to ask. Well done. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
