Start-up fund for Wellington: reopening a street-food cart after a fire in the building
Wellington lost a gas stove and two refrigerators to a fire in the building and needs $1,450 to reopen a street-food cart and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a street-food cart in Guarulhos. In August, a fire in the building took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $165
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $1,050
• Working capital for the first month: $235
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Wellington
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. shop repairs and licensing comes first ($165) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. I'll keep the page updated.
