Start-up fund for Tammy: reopening a fish stall after a storm that collapsed the roof
A fish stall in San Diego needs help replacing a freezer and scales after a storm that collapsed the roof.
🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States4,171 views
For four years I have run a fish stall in San Diego. In November, a storm that collapsed the roof took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $4,050 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $2,450
• Initial stock: the first catch: $390
• Shop repairs and licensing: $490
• Working capital for the first month: $720
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
