Start-up fund for Shota: reopening a flower stall after a fire in the building
Shota has run a flower stall for six years; a fire in the building destroyed the equipment, and $3,400 will put it back on its feet.

For six years I have run a flower stall in Sakai. In June, a fire in the building took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,400 goes:
• Replacing display cabinets and a cooler: $2,000
• Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $670
• Shop repairs and licensing: $195
• Working capital for the first month: $535

Thinking of you and your family. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of Sakai.
Thanks for sharing this, Shota. Shared it with a few friends. My husband and I read this together.
