Start-up fund for Shawn: reopening a neighborhood bakery after a storm that collapsed the roof
Shawn has run a neighborhood bakery for three years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $2,750 will put it back on its feet.

For three years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Birmingham. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $630
• Replacing a commercial oven: $1,850
• Shop repairs and licensing: $270
Thank you so much.
