Start-up fund for Rekha: reopening a neighborhood bakery after a fire in the building
Rekha lost a commercial oven to a fire in the building and needs $600 to reopen a neighborhood bakery and support the family.

For three years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Butwal. In May, a fire in the building took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $600 goes:
• Replacing a commercial oven: $400
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $65
• Shop repairs and licensing: $70
• Working capital for the first month: $65
Thank you so much.

Hope things get better soon, Rekha. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Bacoor so I could bring a meal.
