Start-up fund for Pari: reopening a fish stall after the demolition of the market
Pari has run a fish stall for fifteen years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $3,150 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a fish stall in San Diego. In July, the demolition of the market took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,150 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $310
• Working capital for the first month: $690
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $2,150
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Take care. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I hope October is when things finally get easier.
good luck, Pari. Hope you get there. Blessings
Sending good thoughts, Pari. Shared this with my family. After 13 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
Hang in there. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
Best of luck, Pari. Hope this works out for you. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Bandung
Sending love. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Surakarta donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Surakarta
