Start-up fund for Nilesh: reopening a flower stall after the demolition of the market
Nilesh lost display cabinets and a cooler to the demolition of the market and needs $650 to reopen a flower stall and support the family.

For three years I have run a flower stall in Siliguri. In July, the demolition of the market took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $650 goes:
• Replacing display cabinets and a cooler: $430
• Shop repairs and licensing: $105
• Working capital for the first month: $115
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Nilesh.
It's all in the list in the story. replacing display cabinets and a cooler is the big one at $430, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Good question.
sending good thoughts, Nilesh. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Blessings
Thanks for sharing this, Nilesh. Small businesses are the heart of Siliguri. Hope you're open again soon. After 20 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
