Start-up fund for Nazrul: reopening a fish stall after the demolition of the market
Nazrul lost a freezer and scales to the demolition of the market and needs $200 to reopen a fish stall and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a fish stall in Chattogram. In July, the demolition of the market took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $200 goes:
• Initial stock: the first catch: $110
• Working capital for the first month: $40
• Shop repairs and licensing: $50
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

hope it all works out, Nazrul. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Take care.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 11 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
Rooting for you, Nazrul. Hope the shop reopens soon. Thinking of Chattogram.
Thinking of you, Nazrul. Small businesses are the heart of Chattogram. Hope you're open again soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Chattogram
Good luck, Nazrul. Your post was clear and honest. I'll check back for the next update
