Start-up fund for Leo: reopening a neighborhood bakery after the demolition of the market
Leo lost a commercial oven to the demolition of the market and needs $1,500 to reopen a neighborhood bakery and support the family.

For six years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Melbourne. In September, the demolition of the market took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $195
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $780
• Working capital for the first month: $525
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Leo.
Shop repairs and licensing is $195 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. I'll keep the page updated.
