Sultana was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in April. The oncology team at Mysuru University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Sultana is 34, worked as a taxi driver until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mysuru University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
