Silas is facing a rare sarcoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Silas was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in August. The oncology team at Leicester Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Silas is 28, worked as a hairdresser until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Leicester Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
