Pedro was diagnosed with colon cancer in January. The oncology team at Bacoor Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Pedro is 47, worked as a shop owner until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bacoor Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $350 goes: • Transport to Bacoor Cancer Centre: $70 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $140 • Scans and lab work: $140 If you're reading this, thank you.
