Standing with Óscar: prostate cancer treatment costs

Óscar was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April. The oncology team at Tehuacán Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Óscar is 28, worked as a farmer until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tehuacán Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
