Standing with Margaux: stomach cancer treatment costs
10 rounds of treatment are planned at Paris University Hospital; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Margaux was diagnosed with stomach cancer in June. The oncology team at Paris University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Margaux is 27, worked as a bakery worker until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Paris University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $8,050 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $390
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,000
• Scans and lab work: $660
