Standing with Leonardo: Hodgkin lymphoma treatment costs

Leonardo was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at Rio de Janeiro Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Leonardo is 29, worked as a hairdresser until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Rio de Janeiro Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
