Faith was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at New York Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Faith is 58, worked as a bakery worker until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to New York Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $7,500 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $710 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,250 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $540 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
