Standing with Emma: colon cancer treatment costs
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Munich Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Emma was diagnosed with colon cancer in July. The oncology team at Munich Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Emma is 42, worked as a hairdresser until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Munich Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $10,350 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,750
• Transport to Munich Cancer Centre: $1,000
• Scans and lab work: $880
• Household costs while unable to work: $720
