Standing with Ecrin: thyroid cancer treatment costs
Supporting Ecrin through thyroid cancer: medication, transport to Üsküdar University Hospital, and living costs while She can't work.

Ecrin was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in May. The oncology team at Üsküdar University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Ecrin is 43, worked as a primary school teacher until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Üsküdar University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Household costs while unable to work: $200
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $110
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,390
