Dagmawit is facing a rare sarcoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Dagmawit was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in October. The oncology team at Adama Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in January. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Dagmawit is 42, worked as a shop owner until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Adama Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
