Standing with Cooper: stage 2 breast cancer treatment costs
Cooper is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Cooper was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in March. The oncology team at London Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Cooper is 47, worked as a bank teller until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to London Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $9,550 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,750
• Scans and lab work: $1,600
• Transport to London Cancer Centre: $490
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $780
• Household costs while unable to work: $930

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. chemotherapy and medication not covered is the biggest at $5,750. Appreciate you taking the time.
