Charlotte was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April. The oncology team at the Orlando Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Charlotte is 46, worked as a tailor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Orlando Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $8,500
• Scans and lab work: $1,150
• Transport to the Orlando Oncology Institute: $1,000
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $990
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,710

What exactly is the $13,350 for?
It's all in the list in the story. chemotherapy and medication not covered is the big one at $8,500, I'll post a receipt when it's paid.
