Standing with Charlotte: cervical cancer treatment costs
Charlotte is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Charlotte was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August. The oncology team at Rochester Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Charlotte is 28, worked as a shop owner until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Rochester Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $9,200 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,650
• Scans and lab work: $1,650
• Transport to Rochester Cancer Centre: $1,150
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $560
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,190

what's already covered and what's the $9,200 for?
Sure. The biggest one is chemotherapy and medication not covered, $3,650. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Ask me anything else.
