Standing with Cengiz: non-Hodgkin lymphoma treatment costs
Cengiz is facing non-Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Cengiz was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in February. The oncology team at Bursa Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Cengiz is 54, worked as a shop owner until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bursa Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,050 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $530
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,250
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $120
• Scans and lab work: $150
