Standing with Barış: multiple myeloma treatment costs

Barış was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in August. The oncology team at Ankara University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Barış is 31, worked as a bank teller until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ankara University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
