Ssebuliba needs my tuk-tuk repaired to get back to work in Kasarani
Without my tuk-tuk Ssebuliba can't work; a $200 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 5 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $200 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $105
• Labor charges: $45
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $50
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Updates from Ssebuliba
Good news. Because of your gifts ($54 in total) the plan for fuel pump replacement is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
We're at 10% thanks to 2 of you. I made the first payment toward road tax and insurance renewal. More news soon.
