Sneha's final semester of a teaching qualification in Mumbai
A first-generation student, Sneha needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a teaching qualification.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a teaching qualification at Mumbai Community College, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a warehouse packer to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $800.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Mumbai Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $800 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $65
• Outstanding tuition balance: $350
• Final term tuition: $385
With deep gratitude,
Sneha

So sorry you're going through this, Sneha. This could happen to any of us. My husband and I read this together.
