I'm launching a language school in Pune next November. I have saved the start-up funds myself, but I have never run a business before. I've questions about pricing, suppliers, simple bookkeeping, hiring and - frankly - how not to burn out.
I'm looking for a mentor with real small-business experience, ideally in a language school, willing to have a monthly call for the first six months. I'll bring a list of questions and my numbers.
If you have a few hours a month, and enjoy helping someone avoid the mistakes you made, I'd really appreciate it.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 1 hour a month
- format
- Online or by phone
- skills
- small business experience, bookkeeping, pricing

Keep going, Shruthi. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Please keep us posted. Greetings from Johannesburg.
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Thinking of Pune
Hope it all works out, Shruthi. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Pune.
Sending strength, Shruthi. Hope the shop reopens soon. All the best
Hope things get better soon, Shruthi. Hope you make a strong comeback. After 21 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
