Duque de Caxias
After a flood that wrecked my apartment, I'm temporarily without a home. I work as a hospital cleaner in Duque de Caxias and I have a steady income, but I can't find a place that will let me in without the first month, a deposit and references that I'm in the middle of replacing. I'm looking for a spare room for 3 months. I can pay $115 a month toward bills, I'm tidy and quiet, and I'd be happy to help with cooking, shopping or yard work. I have no pets, I don't smoke, and I have a landlord and employer references. I understand that inviting a stranger into your home is a big step. I'd be glad to meet in a public place first and to share my work details. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • hang in there, Sérgio. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Hanoi.

    • wishing you peace. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.

      • Keep going. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Bhopal donated after I showed her your page. All the best.

        • Wishing you peace. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Duque de Caxias.
