Second opinion needed: childhood-onset epilepsy, Grenoble
Seeking a second medical opinion on childhood-onset epilepsy; a 20-minute call or written review would help.
Anywhere in the world906 views
Jacques was diagnosed with childhood-onset epilepsy in January. The local team has recommended an experimental drug. We understand it's an important decision, and we'd like to be sure.
We're asking if a rheumatologist - anywhere in the world - would be willing to review Jacques's reports and give a short opinion (a call of 20 minutes or a written summary). We'd gladly pay for any cost to your practice that we can afford.
We have scans, lab reports and the doctor's notes ready to share securely. We understand that you can't give formal medical advice without an examination, and we're simply looking for guidance on questions to ask and options to explore.
Thanks for even thinking about it.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Best of luck. Hope you get there. Love from Manila.
So sorry you're going through this, Camille. Your post was clear and honest. Thinking of Grenoble.
Thinking of you. Hope this works out for you. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Kakamega.
Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Johannesburg.
