Istanbul
I earned a place in Grade 9 at Istanbul Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $350, which is more than we have. I love biology and want to become a software developer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $350 goes: • Laptop: $190 • School uniform and shoes: $55 • Textbooks and workbooks: $80 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $25 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Uğur

hang in there. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
