School supplies and a laptop for Raúl in Los Angeles
Raúl won a place at Los Angeles International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States1,876 views
Raúl earned a place in Grade 9 at Los Angeles International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $1,250, which is more than they have.
Raúl loves mathematics and wants to become a doctor. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Laptop: $730
• School uniform and shoes: $250
• Textbooks and workbooks: $150
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $120
Thank you so much.

wishing you peace, Álvaro. I hope things turn around soon. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Thinking of you. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Los Angeles.
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless

Study hard! Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Los Angeles.
