School supplies and a laptop for Radha in Dharan
Radha won a place at Dharan Science Academy but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇳🇵 Nepal625 views
Radha earned a place in Year 11 at Dharan Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $105, which is more than they have.
Radha loves robotics and wants to become a software developer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $105 goes:
• Laptop: $50
• School uniform and shoes: $15
• Textbooks and workbooks: $35
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
Updates from Anjali
Wanted to say thank you properly. 145% funded and we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.
Small update. $112 so far, I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts.
Update from Dharan: the plan for laptop is now scheduled. We're at 69% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
