School supplies and a laptop for Prachi in Durgapur
Help Prachi begin Year 10 with a laptop, uniform and books.
Anywhere in the world372 views
Prachi earned a place in Year 10 at Durgapur Technical College, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $200, which is more than they have.
Prachi loves coding and wants to become a pilot. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $200 goes:
• Laptop: $80
• School uniform and shoes: $35
• Textbooks and workbooks: $40
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $45
I hope life is good to you.

Updates from Darshan
Good news. Because of your gifts ($80 in total) I made the first payment toward textbooks and workbooks. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
65% there. the plan for laptop is now scheduled. Thank you.
Small update. $75 so far, I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts.

You're not alone, Darshan. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I hope November is when things finally get easier
