School supplies and a laptop for Omondi in Kampala
Omondi earned a place in Grade 9 at Kampala Science Academy; we're $155 short on required supplies.
🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda1,450 views
Omondi earned a place in Grade 9 at Kampala Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $155, which is more than they have.
Omondi loves biology and wants to become a nurse. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $155 goes:
• Laptop: $90
• School uniform and shoes: $30
• Textbooks and workbooks: $30
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope you get there. My neighbor in Tlaquepaque donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Tlaquepaque.
So sorry you're going through this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Omondi
Laptop is $90 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. It helps to be asked.
Wishing you the best. Looking forward to the next update. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best.
Hope it all works out, Eunice. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Thinking of you. Shared this with my family. Sent it to 32 people at work.
Thanks for sharing this, Eunice. Looking forward to the next update.
