School supplies and a laptop for Márcio in Rio de Janeiro
Márcio won a place at Rio de Janeiro International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

Márcio earned a place in Grade 9 at Rio de Janeiro International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $250, which is more than they have.
Márcio loves biology and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $250 goes:
• Laptop: $195
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $25
• School uniform and shoes: $30
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Márcio?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about laptop, advice is welcome too. Thanks, that means a lot.
Sending strength. Shared this with my family. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings!
Stay strong. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. I'll check back for the next update. All the best
How is Márcio doing now?
stay strong, Priscila. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless.
Rooting for you, Priscila. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 24 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
You're not alone. Your post was clear and honest. God bless.
