School supplies and a laptop for Keith in Swansea
Help Keith begin Year 11 with a laptop, uniform and books.
Anywhere in the world829 views
I earned a place in Year 11 at Swansea Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $850, which is more than we have.
I love biology and want to become an architect. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $850 goes:
• Laptop: $400
• School uniform and shoes: $200
• Textbooks and workbooks: $160
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $90
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thanks for sharing this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Keith
Sure. The biggest one is laptop, $400. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for looking so closely.
So sorry you're going through this, Keith. Hope you get there. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings
You're not alone. This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless
Wishing you peace, Keith. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
