School supplies and a laptop for Getachew in Addis Ababa

I earned a place in Year 10 at Addis Ababa Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $100, which is more than we have. I love biology and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $100 goes: • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15 • School uniform and shoes: $30 • Laptop: $55 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Getachew
