School supplies and a laptop for Annelie in Soweto
Help Annelie begin Year 11 with a laptop, uniform and books.

I earned a place in Year 11 at Soweto Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $300, which is more than we have.
I love graphic design and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $300 goes:
• Laptop: $140
• School uniform and shoes: $55
• Textbooks and workbooks: $70
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $35
I hope life is good to you.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Annelie?
Thank you. If you're in Soweto I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. I'll keep the page updated.
Hang in there, Annelie. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn
