School supplies and a laptop for Anika in Dhaka
Anika won a place at Dhaka International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Form 4 at Dhaka International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $50, which is more than we have.
I love design and technology and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $50 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10
• School uniform and shoes: $30
• Textbooks and workbooks: $10
Thank you so much.

Stay strong. This could happen to any of us. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Anika
Sure. The biggest one is calculator, stationery and a school bag, $10. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Happy to explain more.
So sorry you're going through this. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from San Francisco.
Keep going. Shared this with my family. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Dublin
this could happen to any of us. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
