Volodymyr, my brother, passed away on 12 July after a short illness. He was 38 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 25 July. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Volodymyr to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $2,650 goes: • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,050 • Transport of the deceased: $410 • Funeral home services and casket: $1,190 Ask me anything below before you decide.           Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. cemetery plot and burial fees comes first ($1,050) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
