Saying goodbye to Emma - help with funeral expenses
Emma passed away on 30 July; we're raising $3,500 for a respectful funeral in Birmingham.

Emma, my mother, passed away on 30 July after a sudden heart attack. She was 42 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,500 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 8 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Emma to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $3,500 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $1,650
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,100
• Transport of the deceased: $400
• Memorial gathering for the family: $350
