Save Willow: Andrés can't afford the emergency vet
Willow, Andrés's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $700.
🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia961 views
Willow is my German shepherd of two years. On 11 August we rushed to Bogotá Animal Hospital with pyometra. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $700.
They have stabilized Willow, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Willow is more than a pet - Willow walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $35 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Bogotá Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $700 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $380
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $200
• Medication and follow-up visits: $65
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $55
If you're reading this, thank you.
