Save Sunny: Alexander can't afford the emergency vet

Sunny is my cat of thirteen years. On 13 September we rushed to Gold Coast Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,650.
They have stabilized Sunny, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Sunny is more than a pet - Sunny is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $360 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Gold Coast Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,300
• Medication and follow-up visits: $220
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $130
