Save Rosie: Lucky can't afford the emergency vet
Rosie, Lucky's tabby kitten, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $200.
🇳🇬 Nigeria379 views
Rosie is my tabby kitten of nine years. On 28 July we rushed to Kaduna Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $200.
They have stabilized Rosie, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Rosie is more than a pet - Rosie got me through my hardest year. I have already put $15 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Kaduna Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $200 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $125
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $30
• Medication and follow-up visits: $25
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $20
If you're reading this, thank you.
