Save Poppy: Leonardo can't afford the emergency vet
A senior cat named Poppy needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $800 bill the family can't cover.

Poppy is my senior cat of nine years. On 4 November we rushed to the Ciudad de México Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $800.
They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond February.
Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $95 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Ciudad de México Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $800 goes:
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $150
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $90
• Emergency surgery: $560
