Save Poppy: Cláudio can't afford the emergency vet
Poppy, Cláudio's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for a tumor on the spleen costing $850.

Poppy is my German shepherd of six years. On 2 June we rushed to the Belo Horizonte Emergency Vet Clinic with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $850.
They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy got me through my hardest year. I have already put $95 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Belo Horizonte Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.

• Emergency surgery: $510
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $165
• Medication and follow-up visits: $70
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $105
